Selected films will be streamed from the City of Issaquah’s website.
Top winners will also be selected to receive an award and an invitation to the “Issy Sustainable Shorts Showcase” at a local theater in April.
What should your film be about?
How do you live sustainably?
What makes you happy about a sustainable future?
What are some awesome examples of sustainability in your community?
Please respond to one of the questions by creating a 3-5 minute short film which can be created with with your cell phone, camera or other video gadget.
Who can enter?
This contest is open to: All Issaquah School District middle and high school students and students in private schools within the City of Issaquah. Students can work individually or as teams.
How long should films be?
Films should be 3-5 minutes
What format should they be submitted in?
The format should be in .mov, .mp4, .mpeg or .avi format at the highest resolution possible. Other formats can be submitted but they may not be able to convert for playback on our website or the City’s TV
When are entries due?
Entries are due by February 2, 2013
How do we submit our entries?
Burn a copy of your video to a disk and send your entry to:

How are films judged?
Submissions are judged by a City of Issaquah panel. The City reserves the right to exclude any films deemed non-suitable.
