Help beautify downtown Issaquah with this annual volunteer party.  Kiwanis hosting – 9:00-12:00 work party – 12:00-2:00 refresments being served.  Contact Karen Donovan for projects 425-391-1112. Meet at the historic Shell Station.

Down Home 4th of July/Heritage Day

Sponsored by the City of Issaquah and presented by the Issaquah Chamber of Commerce, Issaquah’s Down Home 4th of July celebration kicks off with an Independence Day Kids and Pets Parade. From Labradors to llamas, favorite pets accompany costumed children on decorated floats and bikes down Front Street and to Memorial Field, where families spend the day with old-fashioned games, music, food, the Sky High Rummage Sale, and the Annual Slug Beauty Pageant and Speed Contest.

Chocolate, Wine & All That Jazz – July 25

The annual Chocolate, Wine & All That Jazz event takes place in July. Always-popular, this event features a variety of foods from several different local restaurants as well as wines, beer, and refreshing non-alcoholic beverages.

Concerts on the Green – July thru August
On Tuesday evenings starting at 7:00 pm, the Issaquah Parks & Recreation hosts this popular free concert series at the Community Center. Come early for picnicking or enjoy concessions available by the Kiwanis Club of Issaquah. The event is sponsored by the Issaquah Arts Commission and many of our generous local businesses.

Salmon Days – October 5-6

The Issaquah Salmon Days Festival is the annual celebration of returning salmon to the lakes, streams and downtown hatchery with a weekend of non-stop FREE activities. Attracting more than 180,000 visitors in two days, the Festival includes a Grande Parade, a marketplace of more than 250 artists, Foods of the World, the Field of Fun and five stages of live entertainment. The hatchery offers exhibits with knowledgeable docents along with many more fun events and activities the whole family can enjoy!
