at the Issaquah Historic Train Depot
Saturday, Nov. 10th —“THE BLACK BOOK” (1949) star: Robert Cummings; Richard Basehart; Arlene Dahl. Directed by Anthony Mann.
A “film noir” detective-style movie set in The French Revolution? What will they think of next? Robert “Love That Bob” Cummings plays Robespierre, who is looking for his lost “little black book,” containing the names of those slated to be guillotined—if it falls into the wrong hands, it means the end of The French Revolution. Extremely exciting period suspense film by action director Anthony Mann (“El Cid;” “The Fall of the Roman Empire”).
Donations accepted for snacks and coffee.
Presented by The Issaquah Arts Commission and The City of Issaquah.
Opening pre-film lecture by Fred Hopkins (Issaquah Arts Commissioner)
