Downtown Issaquah Wine Walk is a new first Friday evening event this winter in downtown Issaquah that is fun and supports the community. Enjoy live music, art happenings, appetizers and local boutique wines poured in various tasting locations up and down Front Street. Front Street shops and restaurants are open to the general public during Wine Walk and all ages are welcome. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Downtown Issaquah Association and valued non-profit partners

Ticket Reservations for our final 2012 wine walk
$20 in advance or $25 at the Historic Shell Station the day of event
(includes six 2 oz. drink tokens and appetizers)

Featured wineries for the April 6 tasting will be Des Voigne, Nardone, Plumb Cellars, Sapolil Cellars, Smasne and Upland Estates.

Confetti Cupcakes
Confetti Cupcakes is our newest tasting location. Stop by, get a cupcake and try out Upland Estates Ampeli Ice, a wine that is creamy and flavorful like honey lime drops. Yum.

Village Theatre Upstairs
You know the saying, the show must go on. The Village Theatre has a performance on April 6, but we won’t let that stop us. Head up the stairs and enjoy wines produced by Upland Winery. This historic winery cultivated its first plantings in 1917.

ArtByFire
Hejira consists of an American composer and an Egyptian cello virtuoso that collaborate to weave a cosmic tapestry of incredible, original music. Witness goblet making at its finest at ArtByFire glassblowing studio. Enjoy wine from Smasne Cellars that is hand-crafted in limited quantities while honoring traditional winemaking techniques.

Illuminate
Harpist Natalie Skerlong began her musical studies at the age of six and has performed with several orchestral groups. Enjoy some fine wines from the Nardone Winery.

Museo Art Academy
Join Museo Art Academy during Wine Walk for a free activity creating your own quick and simple greeting card in Repousse. Repoussé is a metalworking technique in which a malleable metal is ornamented or shaped by hammering from the reverse side to create a design in low relief. Des Voigne Cellars will be offering a few of their tasty wines.

artEAST Art Center
Acoustic Couti will entertain you with something old, something new, something borrowed and the Blues. artEAST is showcasing the versatility of clay as in their Rhythm in Clay exhibition. A flock of herons (sculptures) will be roosting at artEAST this month. The Rookery Project pays tribute to the Heron as interpreted by 30 artists. Enjoy wines from Sapolili Winery, a small family owned and operated winery in the Walla Walla Valley creating world-class red wines.

Thrive
Enjoy wines from Plumb Cellars in this warm and cozy location. Plumb Cellars boasts some of the Walla Walla Valley’s finest wines. It is fine straight wine.

Vino Bella
Guitar virtuoso and composer Angelo Pizarro writes and performs brilliant, improvisational acoustic and electric guitar music. Sip on some wine from Vino Bella’s extensive list or enjoy some of their tapas or desserts.
