Last ArtWalk of the Season
Friday, September 3rd,
5:00 - 9:00 pm
Front Street and Gilman Village
Its hard to believe but the last ArtWalk Issaquah of the season is upon us. September is knocking at the door and before you know it, it will be Salmon Days. But at least according to the calendar, Sept 3rd is still summer. It's the start of the Labor Day weekend. So unless you are headed out of town, bring the family down to Gilman Village and historic DownTown Issaquah for what is sure to be one of the best shows of the year.

The live music at Gilman Village and downtown is nothing short of outstanding! We've got Tiger Zane complete with her band over at the village. Joining them will be the always entertaining Larry Strobel playing some Rock and Roll favorites and Ronnda Cadle is astounding on instrumental guitar.
DownTown at the Hailstone Feed Store we are bringing back an old favorite in Hettel Street Blues. Lead singer Kathy Hettel is a powerhouse!

Speaking of power, you won't want to miss Austin Jenckes at the library. When he played Music on the Streets in July, he used the microphone for his guitar, not his vocals...
And let's not forget about the art! We have some to most talented painters I've had the pleasure to book this time. Rather than mention one or two and leave others out, I'm going to suggest you come down and see for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
The last ArtWalk Issaquah of the year, will you be here? ArtWalk is a FREE event, so bring all of your friends and family for an evening of FUN!

Greg's Gossip!
As we reach the end of summer, we want to ensure that downtown looks just as good as it did at the beginning of the season. With that in mind, let's work together to stop and clean up any graffiti that you notice around town. Report graffiti to the police by calling dispatch at 425-837-3200. The police will then document the "tag" and then the clean up process can begin. If it is on private property it is, unfortunately, up to the owner to clean it up. However, public property will be removed by city workers as soon as possible. So let's work to keep the downtown graffiti free.
On a lighter note, don't miss the last ArtWalk of the year. It is Friday, September 3rd from 5-9pm in Downtown Issaquah, and Gilman Village. I will be there and I hope to see you there!
On that note, I will see you on the streets!
